Hi All, I have been working on an HP laptop with Windows 10 because games were installed on it and loaded up a bogus virus protection program which caused the laptop to become very sluggish and programs, browsers, etc. Would not load up or were taking an extremely long time to open up. Eventually I was able to remove the bogus program(s), other useless programs and the games that were downloaded that started the issue.

Also I was eventually able to load CCleaner and cleaned up/fixed some errors. I had to use an Avast and Malwarebytes removal tools as whatever caused the problem, would not let me do a complete uninstall of both programs. I was able to install new versions of Avast & Malwarebytes but they would not start because I get the following error(which has consistently popped up the whole time I have been working on the laptop when trying to open other programs) Pop-up error: This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin 'windows' Yes I did use Safe mode to do some of what I needed.
