After racking my brain out trying to get Silent Hunter to run on Windows 10 I solved it. Probably will work for windows 8 also. What I did was go to the control panel and select my Graphics card icon (Nvidia in my case) open it up and select 3G settings.

SH4 WOTP is a masterpiece my only gripe being that it would be nice to be able to walk around the sub and talk to members of the crew (affecting morale/experience) & i would like to see wildlife such as dolphins, sharks, whales & fish.
