@aly4everfr I cannot load that kext because it does not have code for x86_64 kernels. I corrected the syntax errors in AirPortIntel.kext/Contents/Info.plist, but it causes this kernel panic on load: panic(cpu 1 caller 0x2a7ac2): Kernel trap at 0x004fc7d3, type 14=page fault, registers: DP: U iwl5000_load_ucode Init ucode found. Where did you get this kext from? I can't find many results for AirPortIntel.kext on Google Original comment by rin.@gmail.com on 14 Mar 2010 at 11:05 • Added labels: **** • Removed labels: ****. Hi guys, Apparently this guy is working on a solution for most intel wifi drivers (5100 series included).

According to him (read on his blog) we can expect a working kext in a couple of months. Blog: Facebook page for more frequent updates: So just be patient. We waited more than a year, im sure we can hold on for a few more months:) Original comment by eliw1.@gmail.com on 11 Jun 2010 at 3:53 • Added labels: **** • Removed labels: ****. That's great news! And yes, I'm happy to wait a little longer for a working kext for the 5100 AGN! Although, if people are inpatient I guess they could try a WiFi Adapters like the Dynamode WL-700N-MINI, D-LINK 54M DWL-G122 or DLink DWA-643 Xtreme N ExpressCard? I have considered these myself, but not sure how well they work.

If anyone has any experience with any Wifi adapters that work, please share:) Original comment by kennethm.@gmail.com on 14 Jun 2010 at 10:52 • Added labels: **** • Removed labels: ****.

Hello, i have just installed ML on my computer, and then got the EDP after some errors the team had. Well, if i then go under configs and choose my model, i show this icon list on whitch parts should be working after installing, and it seems like that when install only the EDP suggestions, only my keybord is working, so i have to first install the PS2 kext. But that is not the point of this thread.

When i then look at the Wifi icon it looks green and seems like it should be working after i have installed the EDP, but if then go under the settings where you by yourself can define which kexts you wanna install, the WIFI box have none selected, and none of the kext i can choose from works when i install. Ebook the power rhonda byrne bahasa indonesia translation english So is there someone who can please link to a working kext, or a way to get it working.

As a thanks and if it works. I will make a FULL guide of installing ML 10.8 onto the E6230, because not all stuff works through the EDP, and it is a paint to try all these thinks only to get a kernel panic.

Best regards Chris Oleander. First off, which WiFi card do you have?

It must be an Apple compatible one, Intel cards (often shipped with Dells) won't work. Also make sure the WiFi switch is on and WiFi is enabled in BIOS. Next, I assume you installed by the MyHack method.

If so, when you have a compatible card, if it doesn't work out of the box, download and install your kext. After that run MyHack's utility called MyFix (if you installed using MyHack, a copy of MyHack was placed in your Applications folder). Click on MyHack, enter your password, use the dropdown menu to go to MyFix (it will probably open in MyFix after entering your password), click OK, Make sure you are running MyFix on / (this is your hard drive), click OK and choose Full when it pops up. This will rebuild permissions and kext caches. When that completes you will need to reboot your computer for the kext to install.
